Martinez highlighted in that sense the leadership of Valencia in that region of Europe, where it occupies the fifth position, being the port number 28 worldwide in the line of container traffic.

Currently, Valenciaport manages 12,000 containers TEUs of commerce "import / export" with Panama and in 2016 it channeled 125,000 tons to / from Panama, 12,000 more than in 2015 and 24,000 more than in 2014, said the statement.
