Trump and Putin chat during a walk at the APEC summit in Vietnam

The presidents of the United States, Donald Trump, and Russia, Vladimir Putin, held an informal conversation today during the summit of the Economic Cooperation Forum (APEC) that ends this afternoon in Danang (Vietnam).

Danang (Vietnam), Nov 11 (EFE) .- The presidents of the United States, Donald Trump, and Russia, Vladimir Putin, held an informal conversation today during the summit of the Cooperation Forum Economic (APEC) ends this afternoon in Danang (Vietnam).

Both leaders appeared chatting in a relaxed manner surrounded by a large display of security as they went to the taking of the group photo after the first of the two meetings scheduled for this day by APEC leaders.

They posed together in the traditional image with the other leaders of the forum that was captured in the garden of an exclusive hotel in the city where the last discussions of the summit take place.

The talk happened after several days of confirmations and denied by Moscow and Washington, respectively, about the possibility that the two leaders held a formal meeting.

The formal meeting between the two, if produced, would have had to address the situations in Syria and Ukraine, as indicated by US diplomacy.
